Headed back to the magical land, except this time, Kev dropped to his knee for a second time and asked me to marry him! Soooo, kind of a perfect weekend! Here's some of my favorite snaps taken through the few days! We stayed in a sweet little cabin located in Hyde Park, Vermont, which is about 20 minutes from Stowe. We arrived into town extremely late and drove right into a snow storm, thankfully the car kept us safe, but we got stuck while trying to travel up the mountain road where our cabin was located! Thankfully, the local police officer was willing to take us to our cabin, which was the coziest!
Our first day was a blast! We spent most of the day outside in the snow and then had dinner at a local restaurant, where Kev got to try his first Heady Topper, I just had a tiny sip (not a fan of beer). We spent the rest of the evening hanging low after we took a walk through the little, sweet town of Hyde Park.

Another relaxing day filled with lots of romping around in the snow, eating tasty local food and hanging out in Stowe!

DAY 3
Marking down today as one of the best days ever! Laughed our butts off trying cross country skiing for the first time! We both fell so many times and it was just so much fun! We spent most the day skiing, but then had delicious sandwiches in Stowe with some really yummy hot drinks! After we took the sweetest sleigh ride in the snow through the forest, it was dreamy! After, Kev surprised me with the most beautiful ring- and even cleverly had our pal who took us for the ride snap a photo!

"Attention everyone: For those who were not aware Kate and I are engaged. Now people (especially random virgina dudes) can stop asking if she is because you cannot miss the shine of the rock. I wanted to give something more befitting to her. She is the light of my life so it is only right that the symbol of our engagement reflects that. Wedding is to follow in due time, Hope all that mean the world to us can make the trip to Vermont. I couldn't be happier. This day really made me believe that the life of your dreams can be built upon love and intention."
