Today was the day! After numerous times of us saying "we should check out Burlington" we finally stuck to our word! Plan was to visit and tour The Vermont Teddy Bear Factory and then head into Burlington and spend time walking around Church Street which was a suggestion made by friend. We happened to pass Vermont Flannel Company on the way there so we figured we'd stop in since that's where I bought Kevin a flannel for an anniversary gift. Their flannels are made out of high quality materials, and are each hand sewn. I ended up buying myself a flannel and absolutely love it! Wore it out of the store and everything! Now I can donate all of the old, poor quality flannels I have at home. The Teddy Bear Factory was so much fun! We loved it! The tour was really cool and all Vermont teddy bears are hand made in Vermont with mostly Vermont material, so I bought one of those too! They also come with a lifetime guarantee, so if I decide to give my teddy to my daughter one day and she accidentally leaves him outside in the rain or something, I can get it fixed for free, and even replaced if the damage is that bad! Anyways, we named him Charlie! Overall, awesome experience and glad my guy was there to share it with me. I know I've said it several times, but Kevin is such a great travel buddy and to know that at the end of our days I have the best snuggle buddy too is the best. Then, we headed into Burlington and walked around Church Street! All the little shops were nice, I bought some chocolate fudge at Lake Champlain Chocolate shoppe, talk about delicious! We ate Boloco, a burrito shop, it was delicious! Kevin told me I was the prettiest snowflake of the entire storm. Today was full of Vermont, snow, mountains, adventurin', teddy bears and my favorite guy!
